Stay at Wortley Hall Bed and Breakfast and relax within 26 acres of formal garden and woodland. Within the grounds there is a small lake an abundance of wildlife and pleasant walks in a very peaceful environment.The bar lounges provide a comfortable atmosphere for relaxing in the evenings with free wifi available. Food is available from 12 noon until 8.45pm every day. Our popular Restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday. Wortley Hall Ltd is a company in its own right, a member of the Co-operative Union and with the Registry of Friendly Societies.Established as an Education Recreation Centre in 1951 and since that time has operated on co-operative principles.Any operating surplus is spent on the Hall either in maintenance or development. Wortley Hall offers BandB, Conferences, Weddings and Self Catering Cottage facilities.

TRAVELLING FROM THE NORTH via the M1Leave the M1 at junction 36, take the A61 (Sheffield), after approx. 1 mile at the traffic island take the third exit onto A616 (Manchester) then on to the A629 (Huddersfield) for half a mile into Wortley village. Turn right on the double bend; keep left down the drive to the Hall.TRAVELLING FROM THE SOUTH via the M1Leave the M1 at junction 35A onto the A616, then the A629 (Huddersfield) for half a mile into Wortley Village.Turn right on the double bend; keep left down the drive to the Hall.TRAVELLING FROM SHEFFIELDUse the A61, after Grenoside fork left onto the A629 (Huddersfield) into Wortley Village.Turn right on the double bend; keep left down the drive to the Hall.TRAVELLING FROM MANCHESTERUse the A628 at the large traffic island (Flouch); turn right onto the A616, left onto the A629 (Huddersfield) for half a mile into Wortley village.Turn right on the double bend; keep left down the drive to the Hall.TRAVELLING FROM THE HUDDERSFIELD AREAUse the A629 to Wortley village. Turn left at the church down the drive to the Hall.TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTThe nearest trains stations are Sheffield and Barnsley taxis can be taken from these stations to the Hall. Or alternatively the number 29 bus can be taken from Sheffield Bus Station the bus travels through Wortley. Once off the bus it is a short walk down the drive to the Hall.
